Maribel Abbate, M.D.
Dr. Abbate is a board certified psychiatrist licensed in the states of New Jersey and New York. She completed her undergraduate studies at Princeton University in 1995 with a major in Molecular Biology. She went on to get her Medical Degree at UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in 1999, followed by her residency in General Psychiatry at SUNY at Buffalo in 2003, where she was Chief Resident. As a resident, she was selected to be a part of the APA/GlaxoSmithKline Fellowship program. After finishing residency in Buffalo, Dr. Abbate moved to New Jersey, where she has a private practice and resides with her family. Volunteering is a very important part of her life and she spends some of her free time helping hospice patients.
